Blake Christopher, former senior counsel and director of legal policy for the Kentucky Attorney General’s (AG) office, has joined Troutman Pepper’s Regulatory Investigations, Strategy + Enforcement (RISE) practice and nationally recognized State AG team.
Christopher brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of government priorities and legislative strategies. During his tenure in the Kentucky AG’s Office, Christopher helped lead an office of more than 200 employees, set and executed policy goals, and represented the office before various government bodies. His work spanned a wide range of issues, including Environmental Social Governance (ESG) issues, energy policy, and the opioid crisis, among others.
Christopher’s experience also included overseeing AG opinions and helping publish the first opinion in the nation on ESG investment practices. He also directed the office’s legislative priorities and strategies, further enhancing his comprehensive understanding of the legal landscape.
With his comprehensive experience, Christopher is uniquely positioned to provide insights and guidance to clients navigating complex legal landscapes and interacting with government entities. His addition to the RISE practice group and State AG team enhances our ability to serve our clients and contributes to our practice’s ongoing success.
